 CPD & BASIS points 

During the course candidates are given the opportunity to complete an on-line multiple choice test. Successful completion of this will grant the candidates a pass CPD certificate which satisfies the requirements of the Amenity Standard.
Meet the instructor

Dr Peter Fitzsimons 

Peter started his career as a plant biologist before his research interests took him into the timber/construction industry, specialising in wood protection biocides for in situ and industrial applications in the UK and Europe. He joined the PCA as Technical Manager in 2018 but is now an independent consultant involved in various projects and continues to deliver our training for the recently developed Biocides competence certificate for technicians (timber protection).
